My Brothers:

I hope everyone enjoyed the installation as much as I did! What a fantastic turnout! I look forward to a year full of excellence, as I have great confidence in the lodge officers. We already enjoy some excellent fellowship with Washington 70 and Composite 28, and in a few weeks, on Saturday, January 14, we will have a joint EA degree at Hartford Evergreen with Wyllys-St. John Lodge #4 from West Hartford. Due to the number of candidates, we plan to have one EA degree in the morning, break for lunch abour noon, then start a second EA degree in the afternoon, where we plan to do all the lectures. I hope that the new brothers who are initiated in the morning will be able to stay for the afternoon to witness the degree a second time.

I also would like to take the opportunity to remind you of the Brownstone Exploration & Discovery Park's Third Annual Spring Plunge coming up on March 17 from 12 pm to 3 pm. It raises money for Connecticut Children's Medical Center. I jumped in the quarry last year, and raised almost $200; I hope that we can put together a team from our lodge and raise even more. It's a great cause, a lot of fun, and a great way to get out and build more fellowship.
