Greetings Brothers!

One week from tonight is the Grand Lodge Banquet followed by the Grand Lodge Session on Monday.  Tuesday is Blue Lodge Council in South Glastonbury at Columbia Lodge.  There is a lot going on these days!

For those of you who missed last Monday, we had an abbreviated installation ceremony for our appointed Wardens and our new secretary.  Keith Brown is our New Senior Warden and Fletcher Kinsley our new Junior Warden.  Thanks go out to both for assuming these important positions at short notice.  And many thanks are due to Peter Arnold our new secretary who has been working diligently to catch up on about three months (at least) of all sorts of issues including dues cards, reports, and many things that were handled by the late Bill Gilman.  I am sure we all in lodge agree that we owe him a huge debt of gratitude.

Remember our next meeting is our inspection night and we will be having two live candidates that evening.  In anticipation for that night I’d like to schedule a rehearsal for officers for Palm Sunday at 4 in the afternoon.  I believe that we kicked that around last meeting and it seemed good for most.  We had a disappointment last meeting because the Demolay presentation by Pinemeadow Chapter has to be rescheduled due to the illness of the entire cast. 

Many events are coming up in the second three months of the year, and in view of the large number of changes that have been necessitated due to the passing of our secretary and due to the snow on March 2^nd, the only thing predictable this year appears to be change.  That makes these weekly email messages all the more important.  But we are up to the challenge and we will have two new brothers after our inspection on April 6^th is all goes as it typically does.
