all:
On Monday March
16, 2009, at our next regular stated communication, we will be having a program
presented by the Pinemeadow Chapter of DeMolay after a brief business meeting.
As you know, the EA inspection which was to have occurred last Monday was
postponed to April 6th due to the inclemency of the weather. After
such a great rehearsal, it was, I am sure, a disappointment to all that we could
not proceed last Monday. One bright spot in this is that we will likely have
two new candidates that night instead of one as we will be voting on a second
recent petition at our next meeting.
On March 16, a
week from tomorrow, there will be some fine
lasagna for any brothers who can make it
to lodge by 6 pm. First come, first served!
I am still
working on the Trestle Board for April, May, and June, and in anticipation of
its publication, I will remind you that the Grand Lodge Communication is on
Monday March 30th, and we have a Blue Lodge Council meeting at
For a further
preview of coming events, mark Sunday May 10th as our awards ceremony
which will be held at 2 pm at the lodge to accommodate the schedule of our Grand
Lodge Officer Donald Dean as perhaps the only time he has available to present
the 50-yr certificates to our 50-yr members. Letters are going out today form
the Master to the 50-yr recipients.
Let’s hope the
snow is over for the season, but I expect we may have a bit more
yet.
