My Brothers:
Well…Here we are. Have I mentioned the
fact of “how time flies?” The summer is closing, and the fall is upon us.
However we still have some things to do.
Although we are “dark” during
the summer months, there are still some activities that go on.
One of those activities has
been our Lodge Picnic which was held at
Also, during the summer, Bro.
George Johns was presented a 50 yr. pin at his home, by District Deputy,
Matthew F. Heinrich, and me. Bro. George was excited to see us, and was happy
that we were able to present him his pin, and certificate.
In the coming months, we have
a some degrees to do, with the SD, JW, SW stepping up in their roles to sit in
the East for those. I hope you can stop by to see the great work they are
doing, and support your officers.
I also, would like to thank
Bro. Ray Jarvis, for his innovation in re-structuring our Trestlboard to a
newsletter type of communication. I know he has been hard at work with this,
and it certainly looks great, and has gotten many positive remarks about it.
Please look through it, and let us know your thoughts.
Also, just to let you know,
we have a website that you can use to check for updates on stated communications
and activities.
The website is: www.hartfordevergreenlodge88.org
Although we are not done for
the year, I would like to THANK the Officers and members for their support
throughout the year. Hartford Evergreen has gone through changes. Change
sometimes is tough to deal with, however, without change, we would merely sit
idle and become stagnate. It was my intention,(and still is) to move forward,
get members involved, invite families to activities, be more involved with the
community, be charitable, raise new brothers, bring back those who we have not
seen, and many, many more. We have accomplished some, others we have not. I ask
each and every member of Hartford Evergreen Lodge to come together, and move
forward. Be involved in YOUR Lodge. We have so much more to accomplish, and I
urge you to contact our Senior Warden, WB Mark Hultman and support him
and the Officers in the coming year.
Again, Thank you for the
opportunity to serve as Master of Hartford Evergreen Lodge # 88.
Hope to see you soon!
